Autumnation

AI automation for growing businesses

Your team shouldn’t be the glue between your systems.

I build automations that take every enquiry, booking and order and turn it into the right outcome automatically, so your people only handle the work that needs a human.

Diagram: a new enquiry flows automatically into a CRM, which creates and sends an invoice, which then books the event into the calendar and assigns staff.

The problem

Sound familiar?

Your business has grown, but your processes haven’t. Spreadsheets, inboxes and calendars that never quite agree, held together by people copying, pasting and checking.

  • Copying data between systems

The same customer details typed into the inbox, the spreadsheet, the invoice and the diary.

  • Struggling to get quotes out quickly

Every enquiry needs a tailored quote, built by hand from prices, availability and notes. The longer it takes, the more likely the client goes elsewhere.

  • Chasing payments

Who’s paid? Who needs a reminder? Someone checks the bank feed against bookings, line by line.

  • Juggling calendars and staff

Manual diary checks, double-bookings and last-minute rota changes because nothing talks to anything else.

None of this needs a person. Your team’s time is better spent on the work that does.

Services

Systems built around how your business actually works

Not off-the-shelf software you have to bend your business around. Each system is designed for your data, your rules and your team.

  • Custom CRM and enquiry pipelines

Every enquiry captured, organised and tracked through each stage, from first contact to completed booking.

  • AI-powered auto-replies

Enquiries answered instantly and accurately with pricing, availability and FAQs drawn from your own information. Anything uncertain is flagged for staff.

  • Booking, availability and resources

Capacity, staffing and calendar logic handled automatically, so double-bookings and manual diary checks disappear.

  • Automated invoicing and payments

Invoices created, sent, tracked and reconciled with your accounting software. Booking status updates the moment payment lands.

  • Staff dashboards and portals

One simple place for the team to see priorities and act, plus live stats for decision-makers.

Case studies

Built for a UK events company

Three systems that now run quietly in the background of a busy events business.

CRM system

Ten stages, every enquiry, no gaps

A bespoke CRM handling a wide variety of client needs across 10 stages of progress, from first enquiry to completed event, with AI auto-replies covering pricing, availability and FAQs.

From 1–2 days to Seconds to reply to a new enquiry

The manual way

  1. Enquiries arrive across email, web forms and phone
  2. Staff reply by hand, checking prices and dates each time
  3. Progress tracked in a spreadsheet, if it’s updated
  4. Clients wait one to two days for a reply

Automated invoicing

Minimise data entry and refine manual inputs

Staff tick one box and a custom invoice is created in QuickBooks, emailed with a payment link, and the booking updates itself when paid.

From 5 days to 1 hour of admin work per week, at most

The manual way

  1. Booking details retyped into QuickBooks
  2. Invoice exported, attached and emailed by hand
  3. Payments matched against bookings manually
  4. Booking status updated once someone remembers

Staff dashboard

One dashboard instead of four systems

A central dashboard bringing QuickBooks, Airtable, email and stats management together, so staff handle priority responses, invoices and updates in one place.

4 systems replaced by one dashboard

The manual way

  1. QuickBooks, Airtable, email and stats each managed separately
  2. Priorities worked out from memory
  3. Updates made in one place but not the others
  4. Managers ask the team for the latest numbers

How I work

From first call to running system

Complete focus on your build

Your project gets my full attention: direct contact with the person building it, quick answers and no account managers in between.

  1. Step 1: Discovery call

A relaxed 30-minute chat about how your business runs, where time goes and what’s worth automating first.

  2. Step 2: Map the process

I map your current workflow step by step, design the automated version and agree a clear scope and quote.

  3. Step 3: Build

I build and test the system with your real data, keeping you updated and involving your team along the way.

  4. Step 4: Hand over and support

Your team gets training and simple documentation, and I stay on hand to support and improve things as you grow.

About

A dedicated, context-focussed approach to automation

Autumnation is a UK-based AI and digital services company founded by William Middleton. Will designs systems that are completely unique to each client’s business processes, taking complex customer requirements and transforming them into carefully delivered events and projects.

Will has a background in events and a degree in law from the University of Manchester, but has since turned to AI solutions. Many large companies make clients feel unheard and fail to prioritise their needs. Will limits the projects he takes on at once to deliver the most efficient and client-focussed system.

He now aims to help companies in a variety of sectors integrate with AI, save time on repetitive tasks and get UK businesses back to the stuff that matters.
